Zentoshi has had a great number of firsts as it dives into the unknown of new technology and paves the way for cryptocurrency mass adoption. Why is this important? It effectively means a higher level of security for the network. With PoW as the main mechanism for solving blocks on the network, and PoS as a redundancy and safety net. Essentially, creating a fully secured network, with little room for failures. This coupled with our next generation of Balloon hashing, which hardens our cryptography and removes the potential for future vulnerabilities.

Balloon Hashing

Balloon hashing uses existing cryptography technology and adds a layer on top to create a more secure encryption that is more efficient. Balloon hashing gets its name from the way it expands and deflates through its operation. First, the algorithm utilizes a large buffer of pseudo-random bytes based from the input and salted hash. The bytes in the memory buffer then go through a defined series of mixing in the memory buffer as if a stack of playing cards were laid out, shuffled around, and placed back into the deck. Finally after the mixing is processed and sampled, the algorithm is extracted and a new block is generated.

The Microcosm
At Zentoshi, we feel there is a serious lack of progression in the adoption of cryptocurrency. Hundreds of coins are launched without a use-case, they rely too much on community efforts to drum up third party development of their ecosystems.
