3. What attracted you to the cryptographic domain?
Well, I was on and off in crypto following Bitcoin development mostly from 2011. I have enjoyed to follow its evolution, recognizing potential and chances to earn extra income. And with latest spike of interest regarding in 2017, stuck there starting with mining and building ups the GPU rigs, finishing with own pool setup.
4. Could you tell me about Zergpool.com and its team?
Zergpool.com is crypto mining pool for altcoins, with variety of functionality and more than 250 coins. Probably most of beauty in Zergpool.com is provided functionally where customer can explore and decide the best mining algorithms, coins and setup they want to use. As example miners can choose between solo mining, when in case of block found entire earning is accounted to miner, or party mining where miners can join in parties and distribute rewards proportionally to their hashrate, or just mine along with others on shared pool.
We also offer flexibility in payout currencies, e.g. miners can mine any coin, but payed in any other available at pool. Currency exchange happens automatically based on the best market prices. Though my observation is that, the most popular setup is still to mine altcoins and get payed in BTC or LTC predominately.
Team of Zergpool.com consists of more two members, mostly helping with user/support cases and giving heads up on different trends in crypto world and pool operations.
5. What are the different algorithms that can be mined on your site?
Currently we support around 60 different algorithms like equihash, MTP, odocrypt, scrypt, sha256, x21s, and others. Cryptocurrency is rapidly evolving, bringing some new coins and algorithms every week, which we try to accommodate at pool, offering miners the best opportunities to maximise their return on investments.
6. Could you tell me about the difference with your competitors?
Probably mining earnings autoexchange to any crypto pair is that stands out, and is popular. We also have lowest mining pool fee as far as I am aware.
7. Could you tell us a little about your future plans?
Mostly those are directed to stabilize operations of pool, given many new recent implementations. We want to make it flawless experience for any miner, starting from moment miners connects, ending with payout always on time.
8. What advice would you give to a company that would like to embark on this field today?
Well, it is huge effort to keep pool together and develop, so if your team is not ready to devote 24/7 to this project in beginning, probably it is not worth to start.
