Duino-Coin – the world’s first crypto that you can mine on Arduino (and compatible) boards.
Duino-Coin is all about cost-effectiveness, availability on a gigantic number of platforms and quick transactions. Are you interested? Go on and read this article!
Why should You choose Duino-Coin?
Duino-Coin isn’t a fork of any other cryptocurrency – it’s completely original. We use innovative solutions to problems that others have – for example relatively long transaction speed, difficulties even with the installation of miners and wallets, and cost-effectivity for almost everyone. Duino-Coin is fresh crypto and many community members say that it’s an easy way to earn money. We hope to expand in the future so it may be an even better investment later. Duino-Coin is centralized, which means there’s no fee in the pool or when sending funds to someone, your funds are securely stored inside the main server so you won’t ever lose your coins. Duino-Coin uses the SHA-1 algorithm which makes it safe and resource-friendly. It allows people that don’t have any powerful mining rigs (nor want to spend money on them) to profitably earn DUCO. Duino-Coin, again, is completely open-source so you can make your Miner or Wallet software if you want to have even more control.
So, what can mine Duino-Coins?
(Any) Raspberry Pi
ESP8226 (many variants)
And many others! You can implement mining on anything that is capable of computing the DUCO-S1 (SHA1 variant).
What are the technical specifications?
- Block supply: 35 million (~ 25 million left)
- Ticker: DUCO (ᕲ)
- Algorithms: DUCO-S1, DUCO-S1A
- Premine: ~5k blocks
- Block time: Instant ⚡
- Estimated price/1 DUCO: 0.0022 USD
What Duino-Coin does differently?
Duino-Coin has instant transactions, the ability to acquire coins in various ways on a large number of platforms (you can mine traditionally or use experimental Proof-of-Time algorithm which will let you mine passively), it is available globally and cost-effective, fully open, easy to exchange and has a friendly, growing community of avid miners who also want to contribute to the project.
Why was Duino-Coin created?
There were many cryptocurrencies available but most of them could be mined only using powerful CPUs, GPUs or ASICs to make some real money. We wanted to change that so in August 2019 Duino-Coin was created. Since then, it expanded quite a lot, it is also a great example of teaching how cryptos work thanks to its heavily commented, open-source code.
